Wow where to begin. I couldn't live without books. Education - I could probably spend the rest of my life in school, just learning more about many subjects. But for now, books will have to do.
What do I read about? Here's my list:
- ballet, to improve my writing in dance education
- forensic crime-solving novels, the minimally violent ones
- health and nutrition
- workouts to reverse aging and insulin resistance most effective/least time consuming
- spirituality, the latest being Michael Roads and our oneness with nature
- politics - it can be draining, so this is periodic
- positive thinking, prayer power of any angelic kind
I love the feel of books, and the cover art and all that. Yet, while e-readers use no trees, we may find that resources that are limited, or ill-gotten and the waste factors involved are not worth their while in the end. To be determined...
There are so many benefits from books, acquired from the information or entertainment value. Firstly, entertainment is great when you are curled up with a book, trying to forget the cold that is making your head feel like it weighs a thousand pounds. Television can be a distraction too, but quality comes only once in a while. You can count on the book of your choice.
PDF's, ebooks, the internet, instant downloads. I am dazzled by the wealth of books, the infinite degree of knowledge that is accessible.
I haven't really said much here, except that I LOVE books! They benefit every aspect of my life.
